•To make a call to an emergency number from a locked phone, you must dial the number (including area code) exactly as it was stored in Emergency Numbers.

•Your phone does not enter Emergency mode when you dial an emergency number you have designated in the phone.

Calling emergency numbers

To call 911

•Dial and press .

You can call 911 even if your phone is locked or your account is restricted. However, when you call, your phone enters Emergency mode. This enables the emergency service exclusive access to your phone to call you back, if necessary. To make or receive regular calls after dialing 911, you must exit this mode.

To exit Emergency mode

When you have completed the 911 call:

1.Press to select Exit.

2.Press again to confirm your choice.

The phone returns to the home screen and you are ready to make and receive regular calls.
