Section 3: Seeding Adjustments

Seed Rate Speed Change

The seed rate speed change is designed to give you two speeds for different types of seeds and rates. The two drive types are high range (fast speed) and low range (slow speed). To change the drive type and chain pitch from High Range to Low Range, 8 pitches will need to be removed from chain, refer to Figure 3-1.Remove 5/8” nut, 5/8” lock washer and 5/8” ﬂat washer. Flip speed change sprocket for desired drive type.
