Hardware Troubleshooting

well as their appropriate resolutions.

Issue Resolution
I can’t communicate
with the FaceIN
terminal.
-Make sure that all connections are secure and the
cables are intact.
-Make sure that the network cable is securely
connected to the Ethernet port on the terminal.
-Make sure that the terminal’s power supply is
securely connected to the electrical outlet and back
of the terminal.
-Make sure the network communication settings are
correct at the terminal, to check the settings:
At the FaceIN terminal, press the MENU
key, administrator verification is required.
The Functions Menu will open.
Press 5, the System Info menu will open.
From the System Info menu, press 2-
Product Info.
Verify the addresses for the IP, Mask and
Gate.
To exit press ESC.
Note: If changes are needed, from the Functions
Menu press 4-System Setting and then 2-Set
Network. Make the needed adjustments and
press OK to save the changes.
-Make sure the network communication settings are
correct in the PayClock software, to check the
settings:
Open PayClock and click on the Terminal
Manager tab.
Select the FaceIN terminal from the list;
verify that the IP address on the Connection
tab matches what was configured at the
terminal.
