•Coloque o computador directamente à sua frente enquanto trabalha.

•Ajuste a inclinação do visor, as definições de contraste e/ou luminosidade, bem como a iluminação em seu redor (como lâmpadas de tecto, candeeiros de secretária e cortinas ou persianas em janelas nas proximidades), para minimizar reflexos e clarões no ecrã.

•Ao utilizar um monitor externo com o computador, coloque-o a uma distância de visualização confortável (geralmente, a uma distância entre 510 e 610 mm dos olhos). Ao sentar-se à frente do monitor, certifique-se de que o ecrã está ao nível dos olhos ou ligeiramente abaixo.

•Utilize uma cadeira com um bom suporte da parte inferior das costas.

•Mantenha os antebraços na horizontal, com os pulsos numa posição neutra e confortável, quando utilizar o teclado, um touch pad, um track stick ou um rato externo.

•Utilize sempre o apoio das mãos com o teclado, touch pad ou track stick. Deixe espaço para repousar as mãos quando utilizar um rato externo.

•Solte os braços naturalmente na parte lateral do corpo.

•Sente-se em posição erecta, com os pés sobre o chão e mantendo as coxas paralelas.
