Step 11. HOOD INSTALLATION

The hood is optional for these products. In "Shadow Box" installations, the hood may not be

desired. If the opening above the door is objectionable (as is the case in certain "Flush-Mounted"

installations) the hood may be used.

Position the hood in the opening and insert the three mounting tabs into the slots located on the

angled air plenum ramp above the opening above the door.

FINISHING REQUIREMENTS - Wall Details

Complete ﬁnished interior wall. To install the appliance facing ﬂush with the ﬁnished wall, position

framework to accommodate the thickness of the ﬁnished wall (Figure 54).
