Check that all chimney pipe joints are
secured and installed according to the
manufacturers instruction.
If used, make sure the outside air kit is
properly installed and unobstructed.
Make sure the legs or pedestal are securely
fastened to the stove.
Double check all stove clearances.
Be sure bricks and baffle boards are
properly installed.
If plated accessories are used, be sure
surfaces are clean prior to firing the stove.

HAVE YOUR CHIMNEY AND CONNECTOR PIPE INSTALLATION
INSPECTED BY YOUR LOCAL BUILDING CODE AUTHORITY OR
FIRE MARSHAL BEFORE STARTING A FIRE IN YOUR STOVE.
NOTIFY YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY.
POST INSTALLATION CHECKSFOR MOBILE HOME INSTALLS:
Be sure the stove is properly grounded
Be sure the stove is properly securely
fastened to the floor
Be sure the outside air vent is free of
obstructions and has a mesh screen in place
