1Remove the tray from the printe r.

2Locate the lever shown. Pull the lever down to release the jam.

3Pull the jammed sheets from the duplex area.

4Insert the tray.

5Press .

If this does not clear the jam, complete the steps in “231 paper jam” on page 99.

234 paper jam

A single jam or multiple jams are in the duplex area of the p rinter when the printer is turned on. To loc ate and remove

the jammed paper, complete all the steps in:

•“233 paper jam” on page 101
