Set the current time and date

1In Idle mode, open the application list and select Settings > System > date & time

2Tap Set automatically bar and change the date and time and other options.

Turn on or off the ringtone and sounds

You can adjust the sounds for Ringtone, New text message, New voicemail, New email and other options.

1On Start screen, tap the arrow to go to your App list.

2Tap Settings > System > ringtones & sounds.

Switch to the silent mode

You can switch to silent mode by pressing volume up or down, and tapping the bell icon.

Adjust the volume of the ringtones

Press the Volume key up or down to adjust the ringtone volume.

Select a wallpaper for the lock screen

1On Start screen, tap the arrow to go to your App list.

2Tap Settings > System > lock & wallpaper > change wallpaper.

3Select an image and save.

You can also change the Screen time-out and set a password.

Adjust the brightness of the display

To adjust the brightness in the setting menu,

1On Start screen, tap the arrow to go to your App list.

2Tap Settings > System > brightness.

3 Drag the slider of Automatically adjust to Off and tap the desired brightness level.

NOTE: The brightness level of the display will affect how quickly the device consumes battery power.

Lock your SIM card

You can lock your device by activating the PIN supplied with your SIM card.

1On Start screen, tap the arrow to go to your App list.

2Tap Settings and drag to select application > phone.

3Drag SIM security Slider to On.

4 Enter your PIN and select enter.
