Using SMS TextMessaging

With SMS TextMessaging, you can use other people's wireless

phone numbers to send instanttext messages from your

phone to their messaging-ready phones – and they can send

messages to you. When you receive a new message, itwill

automatically be displayed on your phone’s screen.

In addition, SMS TextMessaging includes a variety of preset

messages, such as “I’m running late, I’m on my way,”thatmake

composing messages fastand easy. You can also customize

your own presetmessages (up to 160 characters) from your

phone or atwww.sprint.com.

Composing SMS TextMessages

To compose an SMS Textmessage:

1. SelectMenu > Messaging > Send Message > TextMessage

and selectthe entry method you prefer:

Mobileto use the keypad to enter the wireless phone

number of the person to whom you wish to send a

message.

Emailto enter the recipient’s email address.
