CIRCUIT PROTECTION

Circuit Breaker – The 3.5 amp circuit breaker located on the rear of the unit normally trips only when an over- load occurs because of excessive loading in the wire feed cable or a defective motor or control components. After allowing a few minutes for cooling, push the reset button and weld. If it trips again, be sure the gun cable is not being excessively bent, is clean, and is the prop- er size for the wire diameter being fed. If it still trips, look for a defective electrical component.

NAMEPLATES

Whenever routine maintenance is performed on this machine — or at least yearly — inspect all nameplates and labels for legibility. Replace those which are no longer clear. Refer to the parts list for the replacement item number.
