Batteries

To insert or change the batteries press on the arrow. Slide the battery compartment cover downwards and remove it. Insert Alkali Mangan LR 03 (AAA) batteries and ensure that the + and – ends are connected correctly .

Slide the cover upwards to shut.

Information for the disposal of batteries:

 

 

 

The batteries provided in the unit do not contain cadmium,

 

 

 

lead or mercury.

 

 

 

 

 

 

According to the Used Battery Decree, batteries may no

 

 

 

longer be disposed of in household rubbish. You can

 

 

 

dispose of used batteries at the commercially provided

 

 

 

collection points.

 

 

 

 

Set the remote control for operating the TV

Press the TV button.

Connection

Power mains

Connect the TV set to a 220-240V/50–60 Hertz power outlet. Plug the small plug of the power cable into the mains socket on the back of the TV, the large plug into a wall outlet.

Antennae

Remove the connections cover.

Plug the antenna plug of your antenna/cable system or the room antenna for DVB-T into the ANT-TV socket.

If a digital satellite tuner has been retrofitted, connect your satellite an- tenna system for the ANT-SAT socket.

Use the cable holders on the bottom of the TV for laying the cables. Replace the connections cover.

Switching on

You will find the power switch on the left hand side of the TV.

Press the on/off button.

The red lamp on the TV set now lights up.

Switch on the TV with the switch for standby integrated in the display.

It takes about 2 minutes after switching for the screen to reach full bright- ness due to the LCD technology.
