Mute Mode:
· By pressing both the <Page 
and Page> 
buttons simultaneously, you may disable the 1157’s beeper function. Press the two buttons simultaneously once, and the Mute icon should appear in the lower left of the display. Press them again, and the 1157 should beep, and the mute icon will disappear.
