Warnings:

·The 1157 contains high-precision assemblies. Therefore, avoid extreme temperatures, humidity, direct sunlight and strong static electricity or electromagnetic waves.

·Not for use by children without adult supervision.

·Not for use for other than blood pressure measurement.

·Do not use mobile phones in close range of the unit while measuring blood pressure.

·Do not attempt to fix or repair the machine under any circumstances. Contact the Lumiscope Repair Department at 1-800-672-8293 for assistance.

·Clean the unit and cuff carefully with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Do not apply excess pressure. Do not use solvents or cleaners on either the unit or the cuff.

·Leaky batteries can damage the unit. Remove the batteries when it will not be used for a long period of time.

·For users diagnosed with common arrhythmia (atrial or ventricular premature beats or atrial fibrilation), diabetes, poor circulation of blood, kidney problems, or for users who have suffered from stroke, this unit may not be suitable.

·Do not use on unconscious patients.

·Only use the included Lumiscope AC adapter for AC powering.
