WARRANTY COVERAGE :

MAGNAVOX warranty obligation is limit ed to the terms set

forth below.

WHO IS COVERED:

Magnavox warrants the produ ct to the original purchaser or

the person receiving the produ ct as a gift against defects i n

materials and workmansh ip as based on the date of original

purchase (“Warrant y Period”) from an Authorized Dealer.

The original sales receipt sh owing the product name and the

purchase date from an authorize d retailer is considered such

proof.

WHAT IS COVERED:

The Magnavox warranty covers new prod ucts if a defect arises

and a valid claim is received by Magn avox within the Warranty

Period. At its option, Mag navox will either (1) repair the prod-

uct at no charge, using new or refur bished replacement parts,

or (2) exchange the product wit h a product that is new or

which has been manufac tured from new, or serviceable used

parts and is at least func tionally equivalent or most compa ra-

ble to the original product in M agnavox current inventory, or

(3) refund the original purch ase price of the product.

Magnavox warrants replace ment products or parts provided

under this warranty a gainst defects in materials and wor kman-

ship from the date of the replace ment or repair for ninety (90)

days or for the remaining port ion of the original product’s

warranty, whichever provides longe r coverage for you. When a

product or part is exchanged , any replacement item becomes

your property and the repl aced item becomes Magnavox’

property. When a refund is given , your product becomes

Magnavox’ property.

Note: Any product sold an d identiﬁed as refurbished

or renewed carries a ninety (9 0) day limited warranty.

Replacement product can on ly be sent if all warranty

requirements are met. Fai lure to follow all require-

ments can result in delay.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED - EXCLUSIONS AND

LIMITATIONS:

This Limited Warranty app lies only to the new products

manufactured by or for Magn avox that can be identiﬁed by

the trademark, tr ade name, or logo afﬁxed to it. This Lim ited

Warranty does not apply to any no n-Magnavox hardware

product or any software, eve n if packaged or sold with the

product. Non-M agnavox manufacturers, suppliers , or publish-

ers may provide a separate warr anty for their own products

packaged with the bundle d product.

Magnavox is not liable for any damage t o or loss of any pro-

grams, data, or oth er information stored on any media con-

tained within the produc t, or any non-Magnavox product or

part not covered by this warran ty. Recovery or reinstallation

of programs, data or other i nformation is not covered under

this Limited Warranty.

This warranty does not a pply (a) to damage caused by acci-

dent, abuse, misuse , misapplication, or non-Ma gnavox product,

(b) to damage caused by serv ice performed by anyone other

than Magnavox or Magnavox Authoriz ed Service Location,

written permission of M agnavox, or (d) if any Magnavox serial

number has been removed or def aced, or (e) product, acces-

sories or consumables sold “AS IS” w ithout warranty of any

kind by including refurbishe d Magnavox product sold “AS IS”

by some retailers.

This Limited Warranty does no t cover:

• Shipping charges to retur n defective product to Magnavox.

or repair of products damage d by these modiﬁcations.

• Labor charges for insta llation or setup of the product,

adjustment of customer con trols on the product, and

installation or repair of an tenna systems outside of the

product.

• Product repair and/or par t replacement because of improper

installation, connec tions to improper voltage supply, abuse,

neglect, misuse, acci dent, unauthorized repair or oth er cause

not within the control of Mag navox.

• Damage or claims for product s not being available for use, or

for lost data or lost soft ware.

• Damage occurring to product d uring shipping.

• A product that requires modiﬁc ation or adaptation to enable

it to operate in any country o ther than the country for

which it was designed, ma nufactured, approved and/or

authorized, or repair of produc ts damaged by these

modiﬁcations.

• A product used for commercial or ins titutional purposes

(including but not limited t o rental purposes).

• Product lost in shipment and no sig nature veriﬁcation receipt

can be provided.

• Failure to operate per Own er’s Manual.

ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUE NTIAL DAMAGES FOR

BREACH OF ANY EXPRE SS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON

THIS PRODUCT. EXCEPT TO THE EXTE NT PROHIBITED

BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARR ANTY OF

MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNES S FOR A PARTICULAR

PURPOSE ON THIS PRODU CT IS LIMITED IN DURATION

TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANT Y.

Some states do not allow the excl usions or limitation of

incidental or consequent ial damages, or allow limitations o n

how long an implied warrant y lasts, so the above limitations or

exclusions may not apply to you.
