24.Children and Minors should n o t operate string trimmers w i t h metallic cutting tools, except minors w h o are properly training and remain under the supervision o f a qualified operator.

2 5 . W h e n refueling, be sure t o stop the engine and confirm that it is cooled d o w n . Never refuel w h e n the engine is running or warmed up. W h e n gasoline spills, be sure t o w i p e it u p completely and properly dispose of those materials before starting the engine.

26.Stay clear of other workers.

27.Whenever approaching an operator of t h e machine, carefully call his attention and confirm that the operator stops the engine.

2 8 . Never t o u c h the nylon cutting head whenever the engine is running. If it is necessary t o adjust the protector or nylon cutting head, be sure t o stop the engine and confirm that the nylon cutting head stops running.

2 9 . The engine should be turned off w h e n the string trimmer is moved b e t w e e n working areas.

30.Be careful not t o hit the nylon cutting head against stones, or t h e ground. Unreasonable operation will shorten the life of the machine as well as create an unsafe environment for yourself and those around you.

31.Pay attention t o loosening and overheating of parts. If there is any abnormality o n the machine, stop operation immediately and check the machine carefully. If necessary, have the machine serviced by a qualified service facility. Never continue t o operate a machine w h i c h may be malfunctioning.

3 2 . In startup or during operation of the engine, never touch high-temperature parts such as the muffler, the high-voltage wire or the spark plug.

3 3 . For a while after the engine is stopped, the muffler is still hot . Never place the machine at any place where there are flammable materials (dry grass, etc.) or combustible gasses.

34.Pay special attention t o operation in the rain or just after the rain as the ground becomes slippery.

35 . If you slip or fall t o the ground or into a hole, return the throttle lever immediately.

36 . Be careful not t o drop the machine or hit it against obstacles.

37.Before proceeding t o adjust or repair the machine, be sure t o stop the engine and detach the spark plug cap f r o m t h e spark plug.

3 8 . W h e n t h e machine is t o be kept in storage for a long time, drain fuel f r o m the fuel tank and carburetor, clean t h e parts, move the machine t o a safe place and confirm that the engine is cooled d o w n .

3 9 . Make periodic inspection t o always assure safe and efficient operation. If you need a careful inspection of your machine, please contact our agent or dealer.

40.Keep the machine well away f r o m fire or sparks.

4 1 . Warning: The cutter area is still dangerous while t h e machine is coasting t o a stop.

42.Don't t r y t o tackle a big job with an undersized tool .

4 3 . Wear a dust mask in dusty w o r k conditions.

4 4 . Wear hearing protection during loud or extended periods of use.

4 5 . Keep guards and protectors in place and in working order.
