73 CONDENSATE TRAP REPLACEMENT

1Disconnect the electrical supply

2Remove front and right hand casing panels (refer to frame 42).

3Disconnect the trap from the draining pipe.

To clean the condensate trap and drain

4Unscrew the bottom cover and remove the inner fitting and ball.

5Check and clean all parts thoroughly.

6Check and clean the discharge pipe from the boiler to the drain.

To replace the condensate trap

7Using pliers, remove the spring A moving it upwards.

8 Remove the nut B and lower the trap.

9 Disconnect the wirings from the trap.

10Reassemble carrying out the removal operations in reverse order.

74PROGRAMMER REPLACEMENT (if fitted)

1Disconnect the electrical supply.

2Gain access to the electronic control/ignition p.c.b. (steps 1 to 4 of frame 62).

3Disconnect the wiring at the programmer.

4Squeeze the hooks that hold the programmer on the control panel fascia and withdraw the faulty programmer.

5Re---assemble in reverse order.

When reassembling the new programmer, refer to the wiring diagram in frame 31 for the correct wiring connection.

6Replace the panels and check the operation of the new programmer.
