16 CUTTING THE FLUE

Notes.

A If using the extension ducts go to Frame 17.

BIf stand ---off frame is used it is essential this is taken into consideration when marking the flue (see Frame 11).

1Measure and note the wall thickness.

2For side flues measure and note the gap between the casing and wall.

3From the table in Frame 11, determine the flue length required. Mark and cut both outer and inner tube. Ensure the support spring clip is in position to facilitate cutting.

4To ensure the tube is cut square, mark the flue all the way around.

17 FITTING THE EXTENSION KITS

1Fit the inner flue extension duct onto the inner flue duct.

2 Fit the outer flue extension duct onto the outer air duct.

3Repeat steps 1 and 2 if a second flue extension is required.

4Measure and mark the flue length required onto the flue, measuring from the ring near the terminal. (Refer to Frame 11 for the detail of flue length calculation).

5To ensure a square cut, mark the flue all the way around.

6 De---burr the cut edges.
