1.Disconnectallpowercoming toheateratmain servicepanel beforewiring,installingelements,ervicing,ordisassembling heater.

2. The outlettowhichtheheaterisconnectedmustbe a 120

volt

AC circuitThe. AC circuitmustbe protectedbya 15 or20

amp

fuse orcircuitbreaker,and inaccordancewiththeNational ElectricalCode and anyLocalCodes.

3.Thisheaterisprovidedwitha grounded-typeplugand cordas showninFig. 1. An adapterisavailableforconnectingthree

bladegrounding-typeplugstotwo-slotreceptaclesThe. green groundinglugextendingfromtheadaptermustbe connectedto a permanentground such as a properlygrounded outletbox. The adaptershouldnotbe used ifa three-slotgrounded recep- tacleisavailable.

4. Plug heaterpower cord directlyintothe electricaloutlet. Never use an extensioncordwiththisheater.
