PressT1/T2 to changefrom clock to timerl or timer2. PressSTART/STOP to sta( the count up. The 'lwill blink. PressSTART/STOP to pausethe count up. The 'l will be solid. When timer reaches23:59 5e the receiver will beep for 20 seconds,the time and the f/ I will blink for 20 seconds.PressSTART/STOP to pauserhe count up, then HRS and MINS together to clear setting.

Procedure for typical use on an outdoor grill:

The following typical example will go through the stepsto have the Remote ChekrM alert you to when a beef steak is cooked to medium (USDA table A), a chicken breastis 185 "F and remind vou to rotatehot doss in 5 minutes.

i. Follow the automatic registration procedure.

2.Place steak, chicken and hot dogs on grill rack.

3.Insert probe sensor I into the center of thickest portion of the steak. Avoid touching bone or heavy fat areas.

4.Insert probe sensor2 into the center and thickest portion of the chicken breast.

5.Position the probe sensor wires so they will not come into contact with flames and exit the grill surface area without being pinched/crushedby the grill cover.

6.Stand/hangthe transmitter away from heat source of grill. DO NOT put transmitteron closed cover or under the cover. The transmitter is not waterproof. DO NOT usein the rain .

7.PressS1/S2so REMOTE SENSOR I is displayed

8.PressMEAT so BEEF is displayed.

9.PressTASTE so MEDIUM in box is displayed.

l0.Press Sl/S2 so REMOTE SENSOR 2 is displayed I l. PressMEAT so CHICK is displayed.

I 2. PressA until 185'Fis shownunder SET TEMP. Chicken shouldbe cookedwell done so only have W. DONE as a tasteoption. 13.PressSl/S2 so REMOTE SENSOR I is displayed.

14 . Turnon the grill .

l5.Press Tl/T2 so TIMER Tl appearsPress.MINS 5 times for 5 minutes.PressSTART/STOPto startthe 5 minute countdown. I 6. Clip the receiver to your belt or pocket and move up to I 00 ft away from the outdoor grill. Go indoors if desired. lT.When 5 minutesare up the receiverwill beepand the time display will blink for 20 seconds.

18.When the temperatureof probe sensor I reachesMEDIUM the receiver will beep continuously and 160 oF under PROBE TEMP will blink continuously.If probe sensor2 temperatureis reachedbefore probe sensor I then the receiver will beep continuously and the 2 of REMOTE SENSOR 2 will blink continuouslyindicatingthe chicken is 185"F.

19 . PressSTOP to turn off the alert . The alert will beep and blink after two minutes if the PROBE TEMP temperatureremains above the SET TEMP temperature.The alert stops when the PROBE TEMP temperaturefalls below the SET TEMP temperature.

20.Turn off grill. Remove the probe sensorsfrom steak and chicken. Always wear a heat resistantglove to touch the stainlesssteel probe sensoror wire during or just after cooking. Do not touch with barehands.

2 l. Cleanthe stainlesssteelprobesand dry thoroughlyafter eachand every use. Z2.Turn off the receiverand transmitter.

Kcep the stainlesssteelprobe sensorand wire away from children.

Clean the stainlesssteel probes and dry thoroughly after each and every use. Do not use the receiver or transminer in the rain. They are not waterproof.

Do not exposethe plug of the stainlesssteel probe or the plug in holes of the transmitter or receiver to water or any liquid. This will result in a bad connection and faulty readings.

Do not expose the receiver or transmitter to direct heat or surface. Do not use stainlesssteelprobe in microwaveoven.

The RemoteChekrv registerstemperaturesas low as 14 "F (-10'C) and as high 410'F (210'C).LLL will be displayedbelow l4 'Fand HHH will be displayedabove zll0 "F. Do not usethe stainlesssteelprobe sensorabove410 oF.Doine so will deterioratethe wire.

Cleaning

Always wear a heatresistantglove to touch the stainlesssteelprobe sensoror wire during orjust after cooking.Do not touch with barehands. Keep the stainlesssteel probe sensorand wire away from children.

Wash the metal probe with hot soapy water and dry thoroughly.

Wipe the transmitterand receiverwith damp cloth. Do not immerseeither in water.

Maverick Industries Inc. warrants the Remote ChekrM to be free of defects in parts, materials and workmanship for a period of 90 days, from date of purchase.Should any repairs or servicing under this warranty be required, contact Maverick Customer Service by mail or phone for instructions on how to pack and ship the Remote ChekrM to Maverick'sNational Service Center located as follows:
