With weakest hand at belt path, tilt and push the child restraint forward and back, and from side to side. If the LATCH belts do not loosen, your child restraint should be secure.

Anchorage Strap

NOTE: Some “play” from front to back or about an inch from side to side is acceptable.
If the child restraint does not remain tight, do not use the child restraint in this seating location with this LATCH system.

Anchorage Strap:
Hook the top
anchorage strap hook to the recline foot in either forward-
facing or
40 lbs.
LATCH hooks MUST be securely fastened. Failure to do this can result in serious injury or death.

Pull loose end to tighten
To Attach Top Anchorage Strap: Put knee in child restraint and push down; attach hook to anchor in vehicle.
To Adjust Top
Anchorage Strap: To tighten; pull on free end of top anchorage strap.
