MC1226 specifications

The McCulloch MC1226 is a versatile and robust chain saw designed for both amateur and professional users. It combines a powerful engine with advanced features to ensure maximum efficiency and performance for a wide range of cutting tasks.

One of the standout features of the MC1226 is its engine. Equipped with a 26 cc two-stroke engine, this chain saw provides ample power for cutting through various types of wood. The engine's design also promotes fuel efficiency, allowing users to work longer without frequent refueling. The lightweight nature of the MC1226, weighing in around 5.2 kg, makes it easy to handle and maneuver, reducing fatigue during extended use.

The MC1226 features a 25 cm guide bar, which strikes a perfect balance between reach and control. This bar length is ideal for light to medium-duty tasks, such as pruning branches or felling small trees. The Oregon chain delivers smooth and efficient cutting performance, making it an excellent choice for both trimming and heavy-duty jobs.

The chain saw also incorporates several technologies aimed at enhancing user experience and safety. One such feature is the automatic oiling system, which ensures the chain remains well-lubricated during operation. This reduces wear on both the chain and guide bar, extending the lifespan of the saw. Furthermore, the MC1226 is equipped with an easy start system, which requires less force to pull the starter cord, making it more accessible for users of all experience levels.

Safety is a paramount concern, and the McCulloch MC1226 integrates several safety features, including a chain brake, which stops the chain instantly in the event of kickback. This important feature, along with the throttle lock, ensures safe operation while cutting.

Additionally, an ergonomic handle design provides a comfortable grip, reducing hand strain during use. The saw's vibration-dampening system minimizes vibrations, contributing to user comfort and allowing for more precise cutting.

In summary, the McCulloch MC1226 chain saw packs a punch with its powerful engine, efficient design, and user-friendly features. It's an ideal choice for homeowners and professionals alike who require a dependable tool for yard work and light forestry tasks.
