SAFETY MEASURES

Incorrect use of the sandwich toaster may cause personal injury and damage to the sandwich toaster.

Use the sandwich toaster for its intended pur- pose only. The manufacturer is not responsible for any damage resulting from incorrect use or handling (see also Guarantee Terms).

The sandwich toaster may only be connected to 230 V.

The sandwich toaster or the cord must not be placed in water or any other liquid. If you drop the sandwich toaster in water by accident, or it gets wet in any other way, you must imme- diately remove the plug from the socket and get an authorised repair engineer to examine the sandwich toaster before you use it again.

It is extremely important that you follow these instructions, as water in the sandwich toaster could give rise to fatal electric shocks.

Never try to open the cabinet yourself and never force objects into it.

Do not use the sandwich toaster when your hands are wet, when the floor is wet or when the sandwich toaster itself is wet. Never touch the plug with wet or damp hands.

Check regularly that the cord is not damaged and do not use the sandwich toaster if this is the case, or if the sandwich toaster has been dropped or damaged in any other way. If the sandwich toaster, cord or plug is damaged, the sandwich toaster must be inspected and, if necessary, repaired by an authorised repair engineer, otherwise there is a risk of electric shock. Never try to repair the sandwich toaster yourself.

Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table/counter; keep it away from hot objects and naked flames and make sure that it never comes into contact with the hot parts of the sandwich toaster during use. Avoid pulling the cord when removing the plug from the socket.

Instead, hold the plug. Make sure that it is not possible to pull or trip over the sandwich toaster cable or any extension cord. Never lift the sandwich toaster by the cord.

This sandwich toaster is not suitable for com- mercial or outdoor use.

Never leave the sandwich toaster unattended when in use and keep an eye on children. The plug should always be removed from the socket after use or when cleaning.

The sandwich toaster gets hot very quickly and takes a long time to cool down again. Only touch the sandwich toaster at the handle.

Never place the sandwich toaster next to hot objects (e.g. cookers or ovens) or in the vicinity of flammable materials (e.g. curtains).

Melissa 643-204, 143-078, 143-082 manual Introduction, Key, Safety Measures

643-204, 143-082, 143-078 specifications

Melissa 143-078, 143-082, and 643-204 are advanced agricultural varieties developed to enhance crop yields and improve resilience against environmental stressors. These varieties are part of a broader effort to create sustainable agricultural practices while meeting the growing demand for food in a rapidly changing climate.

One of the foremost features of these varieties is their high yield potential. Melissa 143-078 and 143-082, in particular, have been bred to produce more grain per plant compared to traditional varieties. This trait is crucial for farmers looking to maximize their output on limited arable land. The increased yield is achieved through a combination of genetic improvements and optimized growth traits.

In addition to their yield potential, these Melissa varieties exhibit strong resistance to various diseases and pests. This is a critical characteristic, as it reduces the need for chemical pesticides, allowing for a more environmentally friendly approach to farming. Specifically, Melissa 143-082 has demonstrated exceptional resistance to fungal infections, which can devastate crops and significantly lower yields.

The technologies behind these hybrids involve advanced breeding techniques, including marker-assisted selection and genomic sequencing. These scientific methods enable breeders to identify and select desirable traits more efficiently, speeding up the development process. As a result, the Melissa varieties benefit from both traditional breeding methods and cutting-edge biotechnological advancements.

Another notable characteristic of the Melissa varieties is their drought tolerance. As water scarcity becomes a more pressing issue globally, the ability of Melissa 643-204 to thrive in less-than-ideal moisture conditions is invaluable. This trait is especially important for regions that experience irregular rainfall patterns, allowing farmers to maintain productivity even during dry spells.

Moreover, the Melissa hybrids are designed with adaptability in mind. They can grow in varying soil types and climatic conditions, providing farmers with flexibility in their planting decisions. This adaptability ensures that growers can cultivate these varieties in diverse agricultural landscapes, from humid lowlands to more arid regions.

In summary, Melissa 143-078, 143-082, and 643-204 represent a significant advancement in agricultural biotechnology, offering high yield potential, disease resistance, drought tolerance, and adaptability. These varieties not only promise to enhance food production but also contribute to sustainable farming practices in the face of global challenges. As the agricultural sector continues to evolve, the Melissa hybrids are poised to play a crucial role in ensuring food security for future generations.
