PRIOR TO FIRST USE

Read through the safety instructions carefully.

Before using for the first time, or after prolonged storage without use, wash any parts that will come into contact with food.

USING THE APPARATUS

1.Place the motor section (1) on a flat surface, e.g. a kitchen counter, and make sure it stands firmly on the four suction cup feet (5) underneath.

2.Place the plastic bowl (10) down onto the drive shaft of the motor section (2), so that the drive shaft fits into the port

(19).

o Make sure that the two parts fit together properly. There should be no gap between the bottom of the bowl and the motor section.

o Turn the plastic bowl counterclockwise so that the lock pins (4) click into place and hold it fast.

3.Fit the selected blender or grater function components as described below.

Use of blender function

1.Make sure that the On/Off button (6) is set to “0” (off).

2.Mount the blender function blade

(11)onto the drive shaft in the middle of the plastic bowl. Make sure that it is

pressed down as far as it will go.

3.Add foodstuffs to the bowl – only fill the bowl approximately two-thirds full.

4.Place the lid (8) on the appliance, and turn counterclockwise, so that the pin

(9)clicks into place in the safety lock

o Make sure that the lid fits tightly.

o NOTE: The safety lock ensures that the appliance cannot be turned on if the lid or the safety lock pins are not fitted correctly.

5.Insert the plug (7) in the mains socket and switch on the power.

6.Switch on the apparatus by switching the on/off button to one of the following settings:

o "CHOP" (lowest speed)

o "SLICE/SHRED" (highest speed) o "GRIND" (the appliance only runs

as long as the On/Off button is held at this setting).

7.Turn off the appliance by turning the On/Off button to “o” and remove the plug from the socket.

8.Wait until the blade has come to a complete stock before removing the lid.
