An extension cord may be used with care; however, the marked electrical rating should be at least as great as the electrical rating of this appliance. Extension cord should not be allowed to drape over the counter or tabletop where it can be pulled or tripped over.
-Read all instructions before usíng.
-Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
-To protect against fire, electric shock and personal injury do not immerse cord, plug or base in water or other liquid.
-Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
-When not in use and before cleaning, be sure to disconnect the espressomaker by moving plug from electric outlet. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the espressomaker.
-Do not operate with a damaged cord or plug or after the espressomaker malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. There are no user serviceable parts.
-Do not use outdoors.
-Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
-Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven. Do not place glass carafe on any gas or electric range burner.
-Do not use this espressomaker for other than intended household use.
-Be sure ON/OFF switch is off, before plugging cord into outlet. To disconnect, turn the ON/OFF switch off, then remove plug by grapping plug body and pulling it from the outlet. Never yank or twist the cord.
-Allow filter basket to cool before removing it from main unit.
-Do not use on carpet or vinyl table cloth.
-Do not energize unit without water in water reservoir.
-Do not fill reservoir with liquid other than cold water.
