OPERATION

LISTENING TO THE RADIO

Slide the Function switch to the AM or FM position to turn the unit on and select AM or FM; the POWER ON indicator will light.

Tune a desired station by turning the TUNING control.

The frequencies are located on the AM/FM dial scale. If an FM Stereo sta- tion is broadcasting, the FM Stereo indicator will light.

Adjust the VOLUME control and BASS BOOST button as desired1 . Press the BASS BOOST2 button 2 to the “in” position to enhance the bass sound; the BASS BOOST indicator will light.

To turn theradio off, slide the Function switch to the POWER OFF position.

ANTENNAS

AM–This unit has a built-in ferrite rod antenna, which provides adequate reception in most areas. If reception is weak, turn the unit to improve reception.

FM–The FM Antenna is for FM reception only. If reception is weak, adjust the length and the angle of the antenna.
