During CD playback, if you wish to pause the disc momentarily, press the PLAY/PAUSE (®p) button. Playback stops but the disc continues to spin and the elapsed time will blink in the display.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE (®p) button again to release pause and resume normal CD playback.

While in the stop mode, press either the Tune/Skip/ Search n 1 or o 2 button to select a specific track for playback.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE (®p) button. Playback will begin on the track you selected.

You can also use the Direct Track Selection buttons 1 on the remote to directly select a track. If the track is over 9, press the 10 button 2 first. Playback will start automatically.
