The 808 includes an integrated preampliﬁer, allowing you to connect it directly to a pair of analogue active loudspeakers, or to analogue passive loudspeakers via a power ampliﬁer such as the G56 or G57.

•Connect the ANALOGUE OUTPUT connections from the CD player to the inputs of the analogue active loudspeakers or power ampliﬁer, using phono leads.

•If you are using an 808i connect your other sources to the appropriate inputs.

•Conﬁgure to Type 0 if using an 808 or 808i with no external inputs, or Type 3 for an 808i with other inputs in use; see Choosing a standard setting, page 30.

To connect to other Meridian G Series, 500 Series, or 800 Series equipment
