IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Child Safety
Use the Child Safety Lock to prevent children from turning on
the burners or changing the settings. See "Safety lock" for more information.
Children should not be left alone or unattended in an area where a
cooktop is in use. Never allow children to sit or stand on any part of the cooktop.
Do not allow children to operate or play with the appliance.
The burners become very hot when in use and during the cool
down phase. Keep children away from the cooktop.
Do not store items of interest to children in cabinets above the
cooktop. Children climbing on the cooktop to reach these items could be injured. Danger of burning!
Keep all pots and pans out of reach of children. Danger of
burning or scalding. Special cooktop/stove guards are available from retail outlets.
Before discarding an old appliance, switch it off and
disconnect it from the power supply. Cut off and render the plug useless. Cut off the cable directly behind the appliance to prevent misuse.
