The washer is not hooked
up to electricity.
Insert the plug into the outlet.
The washer is not turned
on.
Turn on the washer using the "On/Off" button.
The program lock is
activated.
Deactivate the program lock as described in
"Locking the washer - Electronic program lock".
The Child Lock function is
activated.
Deactivate the Child Safety Lock as described in
"Locking the washer - Child Safety Lock".
Power failure To open the the drum door, see "Frequently asked
questions - Opening the drum door during a power
failure."
The door was not properly
closed.
Push on the drum door and at the same time, press
the "Door" button.
There is still water in the
drum and the washer
cannot drain it away.
Clean the drain filter and the drain pump as
described in "Cleaning and Care - Cleaning the
drain pump".
As a safeguard against scalding, the drum door cannot be opened if the wash
water temperature is over 130°F (55°C).
