4.2.2 Configure in Bindery Mode with

PCONSOLE

Once you confirm the server has Bindery Context, use the following

procedure to conf igure the NIC.

1. Log into the network as ADMIN.

2. Type PCONSOLE and press . The following screen appears.

3. When the Available Options menu appears, press (for the

Bindery Mode).

4. From the Available Options screen, select Quick Setup and press

• The command at the console prompt takes ef fect immediately. The def-

inition in the autoex ec.ncf file tak es effect when the serv er is shut down

and then restarted.

• If you receive a message asking you to login to a server with Bindery

connections, the server you are attached to does not have Bindery
