¡This function is for controlling the range of sound volume. By compressing the range of sound volume, it is possible not only to suppress the output of loud sound at night and but also to raise the volume of low sound.

DOLBY DIGITAL (default : ON) (It can be also set by QUICK SETUP) ON : Output by Dolby Digital

Set to On when the unit is connected to Dolby Digital Decoder.

When playing a disc with copyright protection

¡When playing a disc with copyright protection, the sound will be down sampled at 48kHz even if you set it to OFF.

¡DOWN SAMPLING function is available only on digital output of a disc recorded in 96kHz, and when the unit is connected to another source using the digital out jack.

¡DOWN SAMPLING function is available only on the discs recorded in the Dolby Digital format.
