Press to select fan speed. Each press changes fan speed in the following order:

(AUTO) (Low) (Med.) (High)

• Two short beeps are heard from the indoor unit when set to AUTO.

Press to select airfl ow direction. Each press changes airfl ow direction in the following order:

Airflow direction

The vane is set to the most effi cient airfl ow direction.

 

Floor standing unit:

 

COOL/DRY: upward. FAN: horizontal.

 

Ceiling suspended unit:

 

COOL/DRY: horizontal. FAN: downward.

(Manual)

For effi cient air conditioning, select position 1 or 2 for COOL/DRY.

 

During COOL/DRY, when the vane is set to position 4 or 5,

 

vane automatically moves to position 1 after 1 hour to prevent

 

water dripping.

(Swing)

The vane moves up and down intermittently.

To change the horizontal airflow direction.

Move the vertical vane manually before starting operation.

1Press or during operation to set the timer.

(ON timer) : The unit will turn ON at the set time.

(OFF timer) : The unit will turn OFF at the set time.

*Make sure that the current time is set correctly. Page 3

2Press and to set the time of timer.

Each time is pressed, the set time increases by 1 hour; each time is pressed, the set time increases by 10 minutes.

3Press or again to cancel timer.

Note:

ON and OFF timers can be used in combination.mark indicates the order of timer operations.
