Set the slide switch to the TV position and follow the programming instructions using the AV receiver code 010.

Always point the remote at the AV receiver when you wish to adjust the volume or mute the sound.

Operating the system:

Power ON and watch TV

Turn on the TV to any channel on Ant-A or Ant-B. The AV receiver automatically turns on and selects the TV as the sound source (this may take up to 15 seconds for the complete power on cycle). As you change channels the AV receiver sound will be from Ant-A or Ant-B. Point the remote at the AV receiver to adjust the sound.

Watch HDTV

Change the TV input to DTV to watch your HDTV receiver, the AV receiver will automatically change to VCR 2 (models M-VR800 or M-VR1000) or CABLE/DBS (for models M-VR700 or M- VR900) and the digital sound will be from the HDTV receiver. Refer to the HDTV receiver owner’s guide for operating instructions.

Watch VCR

Change the TV input to INPUT-1 to watch your VCR. The AV receiver will automatically change to VCR or VCR 1 and the sound will be from the VCR. Refer to the VCR owner’s guide for operating instructions.

Watch DVD

Change the TV input to INPUT-3/DVD component to watch your DVD player. The AV receiver will automatically change to DVD and the digital sound will be from the DVD player. Refer to the DVD owner’s guide for operating instructions.

Watch TV again or other equipment connected to INPUT-2 or INPUT-4

Change the TV input back to Ant-A or B or change to INPUT-2 or INPUT-4. The AV receiver will automatically change to TV and the sound will be from Ant-A or B or equipment directly con- nected to INPUT-2 or INPUT-4.

Power OFF

Return the TV input to Ant-A or B then turn the TV off. The AV receiver will turn off auto- matically five minutes after the TV turns off. (Do not leave the TV on INPUT-2 or INPUT-4 for more than five minutes when there is no signal coming to these inputs from other equipment. The AV receiver will turn off if it does not receive a TV signal for more than five minutes).
