The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous voltage” within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock.

The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.

Warning: To avoid permanently imprinting a fixed image onto your TV screen, please do not display the same stationary images on the screen for more than 15% of your total TV viewing in one week. Examples of stationary images are letterbox top/bottom bars from DVD disc or other video sources, side bars when showing standard TV pictures on widescreen TV’s, stock market reports, video game patterns, station logs, web sites or stationary com- puter images. Such patterns can unevenly age the picture tubes causing permanent damage to the TV. Please see page 56 for a detailed explanation.
