Installing the Mounting System
Remove all pieces of the mounting system to ensure you
have all the necessary parts. Be sure to choose a mounting
location with convenient access to an AC power outlet.

With the help of a friend, vertically position
the mounting system on the wall stud. Using the
provided level, confi rm that the mounting system’s
wall plate is vertically straight. For best results, position
the level horizontally with the narrow end fl ush against
the side of the wall plate.
Mark the stud center in the wall plate’s top
and bottom mounting holes with a pencil.
With your electrical drill and 3/16 in./5 mm bit,
pre-drill a 3 in./76.2 mm deep hole at each mark.
Align the mounting holes with the holes in the wall.
While holding the wall plate fi rmly in place, insert one
of the supplied lag bolts and washers into the wall
plate’s top mounting hole, as shown to the right.
Next, place the power unit mounting plate over
the bottom mounting hole. Secure it with the other
supplied lag bolt and washer.
Tighten each bolt with your electric drill or socket wrench.
