Sharing Radio Channels
Your radio has 14 channels that you share with other groups on a “take turns” basis. Other groups may be talking on the channels. Do not talk over someone who is already using the channel – your message may not be completely heard. If someone is using your channel, change to a different channel and press F to see if it is clear. If you hear static while holding down F, the channel is clear to use.
