You can set your phone to play a different ringer ID for an entry stored in your phonebook (see page 38).

To show or hide your phone number from the next person you call:

1Tap Ú in the global navigation bar to open the phone keypad.

2Tap é, then tap Setup to open the phone setup menu.

3Tap Show ID then tap On or Off to show or hide your caller ID for outgoing calls.

4Tap OK to save your settings.

5Tap ó to exit the phone setup menu.

Tip: Select Network Controlled to let the network determine your caller ID status.

emergency calls

Your service provider programs one or more emergency phone numbers, such as 911 or 112, that you can call under any circumstances, even when your SIM card is not inserted.

Note: Check with your service provider, as emergency numbers vary by country. Your phone may not work in all locations, and sometimes an emergency call cannot be placed due to network, environmental,

or interference issues. Do not solely rely on your wireless phone for essential communications, such as medical emergencies.

1Tap Ú in the global navigation bar to open the phone keypad.

2Tap the keypad keys to dial the emergency number.

3Tap Call to make the call.

turbo dial

You can store up to nine phone numbers in the turbo dial list, then dial the numbers by tapping and holding a single keypad number key.

To turbo dial a phone number:
