Deleting Letters and Words

Place the cursor to the right of the text you want to delete, and then:

Do This	To
Press DELETE (-)	delete one letter at a time
Hold DELETE (-)	delete the entire message

Using the Symbol Method

To enter symbol characters in a message, press Mfrom any text entry screen and select Symbol.

Do This		To
1	Press a number	display its symbol options at
	key one time	the bottom of the display

2	Press S	highlight the symbol you want
	or
	Press the
	number key
	repeatedly
3	Press	enter the symbol
	SELECT (+)
