Transmission Timeout

The Scanner Emulation host transmits bar code data to the attached decoder and waits for th e decoder to assert

the Decode signal, indicating successful transmission. If, after a specified amount of time, the Dec ode signal is not

asserted (indicating that the attached decoder did not successfully r eceive the bar code data), the digital scanner

issues transmit error beeps.
