Using LINC Features

LINC My Info

The LINC My Info feature lets you send My Info through InstantLINC Mobile to Mobile calls.

When you send My Info, the information you sent appears on the display of the phone you are engaged in the InstantLINC Mobile to Mobile call with. After the call, the information appears on the recent call list of that phone.

You can control what portion of the information in My Info is sent and whether it is sent automatically in every InstantLINC Mobile to Mobile call or only when you choose to send it.

Tip: When you send My Info, certain information, such as your email address or fax number, cannot be included. To send complete contact information, create an entry for yourself in Contacts and send it.

Sending Information During a Call

1While in an InstantLINC Mobile to Mobile call, press m.

2With LINC My Info highlighted, press O. -or- Select Use LINC Features > LINC My Info.

3When Ready to Send appears on the display, press the PTT button to send the information.

Starting a Call by Sending My Info

1From the main menu, select LINC Manager > LINC My Info. -or-

From the main menu, select My Info. Press m. With LINC My Info highlighted, press O.

2Use the keypad to enter the LINC ID you want to send the information to. -or-

Press A under Browse. Select Contacts, Recent Calls, or Memo. Select the number you want to enter.

3When Ready to Send appears on the display, press the PTT button to send the information.

Receiving My Info Sent to You

To view the information while still in the InstantLINC Mobile to Mobile call:

1Press m.

2Select View Contact.

If you receive My Info from the same phone more than once, only the most recently sent version appears in the recent calls list.
