Overview of the base

1Charging LED-Green

a) On when the handset is put into base cradle for charging.

2In use LED-Red

a)Steadily ON: During a call or when an extension phone is engaged.

b)Flashing at a rate similar to the incoming ring pattern: During an incoming call.

c)Flashing briefly on and off for 2 minutes: During paging or registration.

Getting to know your phone

3Find

a)Press to find/page all registered handsets. Press the button again, or any key on the handset, to turn off page signal.

Base LED Indicators

--Answering machine is OFF.

00There is no voice message in the answering machine.

09Flash in idle: Indicates the number of new answering machine messages. (e.g. there are 9 answering machine messages in total, with a capacity for 59.)

Flash during message playing: The selected new answering machine message is being played.

Steadily On: All the new messages have been read and there are 9 answering machine messages in total.

FFFlashing: TAM memory is full.
