The Motorola Conditioning Charger utilizes negative pulse charging technology that will help extend battery life and enhance battery operation. It will safely condition and charge your specified NiCd and NiMH batteries in approximately one to two hours. The MCC controls heat buildup due to its charging and termination algorithms, and the maintenance mode allows batteries to be safely left on the charger for extended peri- ods of time. And now there is an Instant Fault Detection (IFD) feature which detects faulty radio batteries in seconds, then notifies the user that the battery will not operate at peak performance. Optional accessories are available allowing these chargers to be used in both AC and DC environments, providing optimal charging flexibility.
