set TTY mode

ùWhen you set your phone to a TTY mode, it operates in that mode whenever the TTY device is connected.

Find it: Press s > w Settings > Initial Setup

1Scroll to TTY Setup and press the Change key.

2Scroll to one of the following TTY Setup options and press the Select key:

Voice

Return to standard voice mode.

TTY

Transmit and receive TTY characters.

VCO

Receive TTY characters but transmit by speaking into microphone.

HCO

Transmit TTY characters but receive by listening to earpiece.

When your phone is in a TTY mode, the international TTY mode, the international TTY symbol, and the mode setting display during an active TTY call.

return to voice mode

To return to standard voice mode, select Voice from the TTY Setup menu.
