For incoming calls and other events, use Ring & Volume to set the style (such as Loud ring or Soft ring) and the style details (such as Ring volume or Text msgs alert settings).

Find it: Menu > Settings > Ring & Volume > Change Ring Style

Shortcut: To change your current ring style to silent from the home screen, just press and hold #.
