Notification List

Your radio has a Notification List that collects all your “unread” events on the channel, such as unread text messages, telegrams, telemetry messages, missed calls, and call alerts.

The Notification icon appears on the status bar when the Notification List has one or more events.

The list supports a maximum of forty (40) unread events. When it is full, the next event automatically replaces the oldest event.

After the events are read, they are removed from the Notification List.

NOTE: Your radio suspends Scan when the Notification List is displayed. Scanning resumes when your radio exits the

Notification List. Press dto exit the Notification List or wait for the menu timer to expire.

Accessing the Notification List

Procedure:

1cto access the menu.

2^ or vto Notification and press cto select.

3^ or vto the required event and press cto select.

Long press dto return to the Home screen.

Utilities

Turning the Radio Tones/Alerts On or Off

You can enable and disable all radio tones and alerts (except for the incoming Emergency alert tone) if needed.

Procedure:

Press the programmed All Tones/Alerts button to toggle all tones on or off.

OR

Follow the procedure below.

1cto access the menu.

2^ or vto Utilities and press cto select.

3^ or vto Radio Settings and press cto select.

4^ or vto Tones/Alerts and press cto select.

5^ or vto All Tones and press cto select.

6Press cto enable all tones. The display shows 9 beside Enabled.

OR

Press cto disable all tones. The 9 disappears from beside Enabled.
