Changing the Password

Procedure:

1cto access the menu.

2^ or vto Utilities and press cto select.

3^ or vto Radio Settings and press cto select.

4^ or vto Passwd Lock and press cto select.

5Enter your current four-digit password.

See Step 2 in Accessing the Radio from Password on page 78.

6If the password is correct:

^or vto Change Pwd and press cto select.

OR

If the password is incorrect:

The display shows Wrong Password and automatically returns to the previous menu.

7Enter a new four-digit password. See Step 2 in Accessing the Radio from Password on page 78.

8Re-enter the new four-digit password. See Step 2 in Accessing the Radio from Password on page 78.

9If both of the new password inputs match: The display shows Password Changed.

OR

If both of the new password inputs do not match: The display shows Passwords Do Not Match.

10The screen automatically returns to the previous menu.
