To obtain an extra burst of steam, press the Super Pressing control button repeatedly.

Note : The Super Pressing control button can only be used effectively if you have already been steam ironing (so that the circuit is filled with water).

Vertical de-creasing

1.Turn the thermostat control to the MAX position (•••).

2.Hang the garment from a hanger and stretch the fabric slightly with one hand.

As the steam produced is very hot, never iron or steam-iron a garment while it is being worn but always hang the garment on a hanger.

3.With the iron held vertically and tilted slightly forwards, press intermittently on the steam control button while moving it from top to bottom. 8

For fabrics other than linen, cotton or wool, keep the iron at a distance of a few centimetres in order to avoid burning the fabric

Caring for your steam system

Before cleaning the appliance, make sure that it is unplugged and the soleplate has cooled.

Do not use any cleaning or descaling agents.

-The soleplate : to clean the soleplate, use a damp cloth. If you use starch, spray it onto the side opposite to the one you are ironing and clean the soleplate more frequently.

Warning :

•do not use any household products to clean the soleplate,

•never put the iron under the tap.

-The base : from time to time, clean the plastic parts of the appliance with a slightly damp, soft cloth. There is no need to empty the water tank every time you have finished ironing.

Storing your steam system
