0 Normal disconnect; no error occurred.

3 Call Waiting caused disconnect.

4 Physical loss of carrier.

5 No error correction at the other end.

6 No response to feature negotiation.

7 This modem is async-only, the other sync-only.

8 No framing technique in common.

9 No protocol in common.

10 Bad response to feature negotiation.

11 No sync information from remote modem.

12 Normal disconnect initiated by remote modem.

13 Remote modem does not respond after

10 retransmissions of the same message.

14 Protocol violation.

15 DTR lost.

15 Three retrains or excessive retransmissions when no DTR.

16 Received GSTN cleardown.

17 Inactivity timeout.

18 Speed not supported.

19 Long space disconnect.

20 Key abort disconnect.

21 Clears previous disconnect reason.

22 No connection established.

23 Disconnect after three retrains.
