BP-25H CE GASOLINEVIBRATOR — INITIAL START-UP (ENGINE)

This section is intended to assist the operator with the initial start-upof the BP-25H CE vibrator. It is extremely important that this section be read carefully before attempting to use the vibrator in the field.

Starting the Engine

1.Place the engine fuel valve lever (Figure 9) to the "ON" position.

4.Place the Ignition ON/OFF switch (Figure 12) in the "ON "position.

6. Turn the throttle grip CCW to the “TURTTLE” position (Figure 13) to start the en- gine in the idle mode.

2.Placethechokelever(Figure10)inthe"CLOSED"position if starting a cold engine.

7.Grasp the starter grip (Figure 14) and slowly pull it out.The resistance becomes the hardest at a certain position, corre- spondingtothecompressionpoint.Pullthestartergripbriskly and smoothly for starting.

3.Place the choke lever (Figure 11) in the "OPEN " position if starting a warm engine or the temperature is warm.

8.If the engine has started, slowly return the choke lever (Figure15)totheOPEN position.Iftheenginehasnotstarted repeat steps 1 through 6.
