SAFETY INFORMATION

TRANSPORTING SAFETY

CAUTION

„NEVER allow any person or animal to stand underneath the equipment while lifting.

NOTICE

„Before lifting, make sure that the equipment parts (hook and vibration insulator) are not damaged and screws are not loose or missing.

„Always make sure crane or lifitng device has been properly secured to the lifting bail (hook) of the equipment.

„ALWAYS shutdown engine before transporting.

„NEVER lift the equipment while the engine is running.

„Tighten fuel tank cap securely and close fuel cock to prevent fuel from spilling.

„Use adequate lifting cable (wire or rope) of sufficient strength.

„Use one point suspension hook and lift straight upwards.

„DO NOT lift machine to unnecessary heights.

„ALWAYS tie down equipment during transport by securing the equipment with rope.

ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY

NOTICE

„Dispose of hazardous waste properly. Examples of potentially hazardous waste are used motor oil, fuel and fuel filters.

„DO NOT use food or plastic containers to dispose of hazardous waste.

„DO NOT pour waste, oil or fuel directly onto the ground, down a drain or into any water source.

MVC-88GH, MVC-88GHW specifications

The Multiquip MVC-88GHW and MVC-88GH are robust and versatile gasoline-powered walk-behind vibratory plate compactors, designed to meet the demands of various construction and landscaping applications. These machines excel in compacting granular soils, crushed aggregate, and asphalt, making them ideal for both commercial and residential projects.

One of the standout features of the MVC-88GHW and MVC-88GH is their powerful 4-stroke Honda GX160 engine. This engine provides reliable performance and outstanding fuel efficiency, significantly reducing downtime and operating costs. With an output of 5.5 horsepower, it delivers ample power to ensure effective soil compaction, enabling users to achieve optimal results on any job site.

Both models boast a rugged, cast iron base plate that offers exceptional stability and durability during operation. The base plates are designed in varying widths, offering versatility to suit different project needs. The MVC-88GHW features a working width of 20 inches, while the MVC-88GH has a slightly narrower width, catering to more confined spaces.

In terms of technology, the MVC-88GHW and MVC-88GH utilize a well-engineered vibratory system that enhances compaction efficiency. The high-frequency vibration, generating up to 5,000 vibrations per minute, ensures deep penetration into the soil, providing maximum compaction in fewer passes. This efficiency not only speeds up the compaction process but also minimizes wear and tear on the machine over time.

Another important characteristic is the operator comfort and safety features included in these models. They are equipped with ergonomic, padded handlebars that reduce operator fatigue, enabling longer working hours without discomfort. Additionally, the machines feature a dead-man throttle for enhanced safety, allowing operators to quickly stop the engine in emergencies.

The MVC-88GHW and MVC-88GH are designed with portability in mind. They are equipped with a transport wheel, making it easy to move them from one job site to another. This feature, coupled with their lightweight design, enhances their usability for contractors and landscapers alike.

In summary, Multiquip's MVC-88GHW and MVC-88GH walk-behind vibratory compactors deliver a perfect blend of power, efficiency, and user convenience, making them essential tools for anyone looking to achieve high-quality compaction results in diverse applications.
